Pus Filled Bumps In The Genital Area. Have Itching. Could This Be An Allergy From Massage Oil?

I have bumps near my genital area, more on my butt cheek. The bumps have pus or white tips but they also have a black tip right in the center as well. the bumps are hard and are slighty itchy and tender, but not to the point where its causing me extreme discomfort. What can they be? It happened the day after I went and got a full body massage; could it be a reaction from the oil used?

Hi,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to Healthcare Magic.

After reading your whole query it appears that you are suffering from "follicultis" or simply we say inflammation of the hair follicle and the the oil glands.
This is a common phenomenon occurring after the oil massage if done vigorously or some time due to simple massage also. The oil massage block the pores of the oil glands and then it get irritated and inflamed.
You kindly do cold water compression with towel soaked in the same for 3-4 times a day. Apply calamine lotion over the area for the soothing effect. Do not try to do any home remedies or any other agents which can block the pores.
You can take simple pain killer tablets if the inflammation or pain is high.
Use cotton clothes and cotton underwear. Do not sit for a long period of time continuously.
If you find any pus or increase in swelling then can take antibiotics under dermatological guidance.

Hope these informations will help.
