Purple Tinge Over Inner Vagina Post Popping A Bump, Not Sexually Active. Worrisome?

I m 13 and I found a pea-sized red bump on the inner part of the right lip of my vagina . There is a slight pain when I touch it. I tried to pop it, but only a clear liquid came out. And due to irritation it turned purple. I m not sure what it is and I am afraid to tell my mom and go to the doctor. Also, i am not sexually active in any way, and I just got off my period.

Hi,
Thanks for query,
You have Bartholin gland swelling.
You need medication to resolve it.
Don't ashamed from your Mom or Doctor as if not treated it may increase in size needs minor surgery.
It is an infection & can be cured with oral medication now so nothing to worry you should be OK by medicines.
Thanks.
