Nephrologist 's  Response
Hello dear, welcome to HCM. from the limited information provided by you, I can assure you that your daughter is leaking only a tiny amount of protein from her kidneys. I am glad your doctor is referring her to a nephrologist who can make a sensible assessment based on much more information we need before dismissing this minor abnormality. It would help if you had provided me with your daughters symptoms for which you took her to the doctor, her kidney function (blood) results, and her urine routine result (to look for blood, pus cells, protein, etc). Once again, relax and see the nephrologist who will obviously have all the information I have asked for and will advise you appropriately. Best wishes. RB
