Prolonged menstrual cycle usually causes no worries if you have regular menstrual cycle. Abdominal pain and bloating if mild is normal during periods. If you are above 40 and have increased bleeding during periods consult with gynecologist and get investigation for ruling out any pathology in your uterus. Meanwhile what I will suggest my patients is anticolic and painkillers like metal plus for abdominal cramps.
