Pressure On Back Of Neck, Dizziness, Numbness On Face And Feeling Of Swollen Feet. Are They Symptoms Of Vertigo?

Hi my name is Millie, my question if my mom is complaining about pressure on the back of the neck, dizziness, unbalanced when she's standing up or bending down then it goes towards the face and she feels numb on the face, then she feels that her feet are swollen because they hurt. Is this vertigo?

Dear Friend
Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern.
The symptoms you are describing can be due to Stroke , Cerebellar disorders , ENT related problems.
If your mother has risk factors like diabetes , hypertnsion she is at risk.
If she has fever , it can be Cerebellitis.
Also can be due to cervical related problems.
I advise you to consult your doctor and if he feels on examination , he would get her neuro imaging done.
I hope I am able to answer your query , still if you have any query ask me
I find this answer helpful
