Pressure In Ears, Bleeding. After Being In Water. What Could Have Happened?

Hello Doctor,
This is my condition, I went to the beach during the weekends and I did some swimming. I wasn't sure if water got into my right ear. But after a few moments I suddenly feel pressure from my right side of the ear. Its been 3 days and I still feel the pressure and when I used an ear bud to check on it. There was like blood in it. What do I do? But my hearing is as good as before.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello,
KINDLY MAKE SURE THAT YOU DO NOT CLEAN YOUR EARS BY YOURSELF.
You might have developed acute infection in ear due to infection from water .
You must get your ears examined by ENT specialist to plan for the antibiotic course to be started.in addition decongestant, or the need of ear drops.
The pressure could be because of infection and the fluid which gets accumulated in the middle part of ear behind the ear drum, and the blood discharge after using ear bud could be because of rubbing the infected and inflammed mucosa or the ear drum.
PRECAUTION--
AVOID SWIMMING AND TAKE PRECAUTION WHILE TAKING BATH SO THAT THE WATER DOES NOT ENTER YOUR EARS.
Get well soon.
