Hello,
Thanks for writing your query to us.
Since you are taking these medicines last one month, i would advise you not to discontinue medicines suddenly. Kindly continue them as advised by your doctor. You may develop withdrawal symptoms if medicines are stopped suddenly. So dont quit your medicines without consulting your doctor. Blood pressure tend to rise during panic attack due to adrenaline that triggers the panic attack.
Take care.

Psychiatrist Dr. Jonas Sundarakumar's  Response
Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

It is not advisable to suddenly discontinue these medication without the advise of a doctor. You are likely to get withdrawal effects if you do so. Moreover, if you've had a panic attack once, there are chances of recurrence. I would advise you to take a second opinion from another psychiatrist before you make any decisions on your own.

Wish you all the best.
