Hi dear your 15 year old child having earache for four days, with no infection in ear ,throat or nose, and was prescribed ciprdex drops. If he has no infection in ear ,throat or nose ,then where lies the cause of pain, and why the lymph node is swollen, which usually happens in infection The red circle in the front of ear with numbness which your now mentioning points that your child is probably having paratoiditis, inflammation of a gland called partoid situated in front ear,and this has led to the enlargement and pain of lymph node ,as well as earache.so you better get your child investigated for partioditis, which is also associated with orchitis, in this age group,He may need a course of anitbiotic and anti inflammatory
