Prescribed To Take Cefixime 200mg Tablet For Typhoid At The Age Of 6.5 Years
Respected Sir, My son Aryan 6.5 yrs old has been detected having s typhoid o positive at 1:160 dilution and the doctor has prescribed cefixime 200mg tablet. is it ok? and usually he is given 250mg for fever and now he is given meftal syrup 10ml 3 times.. is it ok. HB% IS 10.7 . AND LYMPHOCYTES is 28

The readings shows slightly high so no need to worry.The medications your doctor has prescribed is fine and the dosage is usually given based on weight of the child and as well as the frequency of dose. So dont worry follow the instructions of your doctor.
