General & Family Physician 's  Response
You are suffering from typhoid fever and there is no need to loose your sleep over this issue and develop unnecessary anxiety.
Typhoid fever, also known simply as typhoid, is a common worldwide bacterial disease, transmitted by the ingestion of food or water contaminated with the feces of an infected person, which contain the bacterium Salmonella typhi.

Both ceftriaxone and cefixime are classed as third generation cephalosporin antibiotics.
Because they belong to the same "generation" their antimicrobial properties are very similar.
So there is no need to take both the medicines.
In most of typhoid cases, injectables are not required.
You need to take only cefixime 400 mg daily for 10 to 14 days.
Keep taking the probiotic in the form of sachet.
As far as food is concerned take
Light food
Avoid non veg food
Plenty of boiled water
Fresh fruits and green vegetables
Take care of personal hygiene
