Prescribe Medicines For Cold

I hav a 4 month old baby. She has cold and cough. She had been coughing very badly for abt 4 days. We have just moved from India to Germany a few days back. We suppose the change in climate has worsened the state. Could u pls suggest any tips or medicine that would bring in some relief to her.

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Baby has contracted Respiratory tract infection . usually it is of viral origin but in such a small child bacterial infection can not be easily ruled out and over looked.
My opinion is to give her some antihistaminc and decongestant medicines like sinarest easily available in India.Along with this some antipyretic like paracetamol is also required in relieving the symptoms.
Steam inhalation is quite helpful.
Antibiotics also to be considered if the symptoms are worsening and not being relieved with the above treatment.
