Pregnant With Protein In Urine. History Of Preeclampsia. Feeling Nausea. Bed Rest Suggested. Worried
I went to the midwife today and they found protein in my urine but my blood pressure was fine. This is my second pregnancy and I also had preeclampsia with my son, he was born at 36 weeks, I have made it to 38 weeks now. However, I have been feeling nauseous today. They drew my blood and sent me home with a 24 hour urine test to bring back tomorrow. They told me to be on bedrest until Friday. I am little concerned that I am feeling nauseous. Should I wait to see how I feel until Friday or should I call the hospital?
I understand your concern and it seems to me that you have already taken the right steps to make sure that you are having the best care for your second baby. I have a feeling that you will make it to the due date without problems since finding protein is not the only thing that is necessary for the diagnosis of preecclampsia. However, your feeling of nausea is concerning. You should probably do things that keep up your spirits and also redirect you from focusing on the nauseous feeling. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!
