Hello,
If you have been spotting for so long despite all precautions, you may need a local exam to rule out local causes of the bleeding. You should take absolute bed rest, avoid intercourse and stress. You may need follow up sonograms to monitor the status of your pregnancy. Please get a second opinion from an experienced doctor if you feel you are not properly being advised. Wish you a safe pregnancy.
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The mild spotting that you have might be related to a vaginal infection or placental position. A low lying placenta can cause the bleeding. An ultrasound examination will help in placental localization and proper treatment.
