Pregnant, Scratches Chin, Arms. Savalon, Sudocream Not Helping. How To Get Relief?
My girlfriend is 24 weeks pregnant and keeps scaratching her chin and arms witch makes it red raw ive tried savalon and sudocrem but it still dont seem to be doing anything she wakes up near enouh all the time cause off it and being pregnant amd already cranky and so good fore is there anything i could put kn it at night to help her sleep aswell as stop it itchig
give her antihistaminic like chlorpheneramine which also has some sedative effect will help her sleep
Keep the body well hydrated with moisturisers
She should avoid scratching as it initiates scratch itch cycle , with increased intensity of itching
since she is 24 weeks pregnant, we need to rule out intrahepatic cholestasis, which carries some risks , so consult a specialist for specific diagnosis and appropriate timely management.
I Hope this helps
