hello doctor i went to doctor yesterday im 33-34 weeks pregnent in the scanning A SINGLE INTRAUTRINE PREGNANCY OF 33-34 WEEKS BPD- 85MM -35 W 3D - FL-67MM EFBW-2200GMS-- + OR - 200GMS EDD BY 16-11-2012 AND THE NOTE IS, NOTE -DETECTION OF FETAL ANAMOLIES DEPENDS UP ON LIQUOR CONTENT, POSITION OF FETUS , GESTATIONAL AGE OF FETUS AND STATUS OF MATERNAL ABDOMINAL WALL . THUS ULTRA SOUND EXAMINATION HAS ITS LIMITATIONS AND ALL CONGENITAL ANAMOLIES CANNOT BE RULLED OUT. FETAL HEART 2D EVALUATION IS NOT A PART OF ROUTINE TIFFA ULTRA SOUN EXAMINATION, SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IT SAYS?

Hi Sreshta,

Your ultrasound scan report is normal.

You have a single baby in your womb; It is approximately 33 to 34 weeks old inside the uterus now. Baby is growing well, estimated weight of the baby at birth will be 2200gms and the probable date of your delivery would be on 16 November 2012.

Rest of the report is a disclaimer; do not bother about it. Your baby is doing well inside the womb.
