The result of your Oral glucose tolerance test is on the higher side and may need the three hour test again. Gestational diabetes is diagnosed through screening based on the presence of various risk factors like family history, past pregnancies, older age and obesity and so on. If confirmed, you will need some extra care until and after sometime after delivery, until postpartum evaluation is done. I advice you to consult your obstetrician for an evaluation and followup, if needed, with an endocrinologist. Take care.
