Hi, I am 25 weeks pregnant. At 23 weeks I was diagnosed with marginal placenta previa . I have been experiencing brown spotting only in the morning. Why is that? Will the brown spotting lead to a have bleed?

Hello
Thank you for your query.
Marginal placenta previa is the cause for your spotting.
You need to take extra care and precautions - rest well, avoid dehydration, avoid sexual activity, strain, jerky travelling, stress etc.
You can still be hopeful because 90 % of placenta previa migrate upwards towards the third trimester..
Sometimes, marginal placenta previa can lead to a heavy bleeding, which is an emergency.
Take care.
