Pregnant, Lower Back Pain, Cramps, Discharging Light Pink Blood After Urination. Advise?
Hi im 37 Weeks and 4 days pregnant..I started to have lower back pain yesterday morning for couple of hours and afterwords they went away..but last night around 11pm my lower back pain and cramping came back and they happen every 8 to 10 min and im also discharging light pink blood when I use the restroom (#1) what should I do? This is my first baby.

The light pink discharge is the 'show' or the muco-sangineous discharge that occurs just before labor. This is a plug of cervical mucus and is usually mixed with blood to give the pink appearance. This indicates that the cervix is getting dilated and the head of the baby is descending down.
This is not the rupture of membranes where there will be sudden gush of colourless fluid. The actual labor with true pains start only after the membranes rupture. Since you are primi (first time pregnant)you will get labor pains within two weeks at the maximum after the show. The pain you experienced is due to mild uterine contractions and not the labor pain or true pain.
