hello sir my name is ali i would like to ask a difference between fucidic acid and iodine and what are the indications in simple meanings
and is fusidic acid and fucidic acid+hydrocortizone acetate harmful (topical not orally) in pregnancy and lactation period.

The topical application of fusidic acid cream during pregnancy or lactation is not harmful. This is a topical antibiotic and steroid ointment and can be used for short term as it is least absorbed systemically when applied to the intact skin.
