Pregnant, Itching In Vagina. Urine Culture Positive For Leukocyte Esterase, Pus Cells, Epithelial Cells. On Nitrofurantoin. Is It UTI?
hi i am 5months pregnant ,i got urine test and urine culture done.The report is Leucocyte estrase positive,Pus cells 18-20,and epithelial cells fair in number.I dont have any other symptom other than itching in vagina.Am i suffering from UTI? I have complited 7 days course of nitrofurantoin antibiotic but it didn;t work please advice what can I do in this situation.

You have got urinary tract infection.
During pregnancy any infection must be treated.
Consult your Obst. and go for antibiotic medicine course, safe during pregnancy.
Take plenty of water.
Keep local hygiene healthy.
