Pregnant, Bleeding While Intercourse, No Clots

I am 12 weeks 5 days pregnant . During intercourse with my fiance I noticed I was bleeding . It was not spotty but heavier like that of a period, but with no pain or cramping. The blood was bright red in color but did not have clots or tissue like material with it. The bleeding has stopped and did not last long. I am going to the ER in the morning to make sure everything is ok but wanted to know if this should be cause for alarm. Thank you.

Hello Lick,

Welcome on hcm.
Your story is suggestive of placenta previa.
This is a serious problem of pregnancy.
During whole gestation period you have to be cautious.
Now till delivery you should not do vaginal sex.
No sex with physical exertion.
You can have foreplay and after play.
You can go for oral sex with no pressure on your body.
You should take bed rest as far as possible till full term.
Get yourself checked immediately, by a gynecologist.

Good luck you need more.
Thanks
