Pregnant And Abnormal SGPT Results. When Can I Deliver My Baby?

hello i m on 36 week pregnant and was having the SGPT level 47 but after that my doctor advised me URSO which takes my SGPT to 28 , but she advised me to deliver the baby before 38 weeks as the delay may cause some problem for the baby, and now from the recent ultrasound the weight of my baby is 2.69 KG ........... so my question is it is the rite time for delivery ? and the weight of my baby is okay or not ?

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
You can deliver your baby between 37 to 38 weeks,during this period fetus attains proper lung maturity.
Weight of your baby is more than 2.5 kg that is ok to deliver.

Cholestasis is common during pregnancy. Ursodeoxycholic acid gives good results.

If there is no other indication for the induction of delivery I think you can wait for the natural labour.

If there is any other indication like CPD or previous C section and they are planning for it then there is no choice
