Pregnant. Taking Loprin And Neurobion. Had A Miscarriage Earlier. Will It Affect The Fetus?

hi i am 5 weeks pregnant the doc has prescribed loprin and neurobion forte. i had a misscarriage earlier..i had consulted the doctor before getting pregnant she gave me the above prescribed medicine but i didnt take it.. but now she told me to have the medicines regularly..tell me whether it will affect my foetus as i dint take the medicines previously?

Hi,
For a normal pregnancy, no special medication is necessary except folic acid and iron, if anemic. Since you had a previous miscarriage, your doctor is being cautious to prevent any risk factors in this pregnancy. There is no likely risk in starting the medication now. You need regular follow up.
