Pregnant. Suffering From Beriberi. How To Get Rid Of Swelling And Joint Pain?

hi. i am pregnant and already on my 7th month in a week s time. i have been suffering from beriberi the last week and for the last 2 weeks, i have endured the pain on the joints in my fingers and toes. they sometimes feel so sore that even closing my hand to a fist is torture. i know these are but normal during pregnancy but i still want to know how to get rid of the swelling and the joint pains. thanks.

The swelling and the joint pains are related to the deficiency disorder that you are having. For a symptomatic relief you can have a mild analgesic like acetaminophen and do a hot fomentation of the affected areas.
