Pregnant. Passing Somthing Resembling Cord, Sac And Fetus, Heavy Bleeding. Ultrasound Showed Blood Around Sac. Miscarriage?

I am 7 weeks pregnant. 3 days ago, I passed what resemble a cord, sac, and fetus. The emergency room gave me an ultrasound and heard a heartbeat. But they also spotted blood around sac. I think I may have miscarried a twin. Today I have expelled a large amount of blood and tissue. Could this blood and tissue be the mass of blood the doctors seen from my ultrasound or could I be miscarrying?

Hello and welcome ma'am.

Yes this could have very possibly been a twin which you miscarried. But the blood and tissue you passed today should mostly be only the residual contents of the miscarried fetus.

Either way, please stay in constant touch with your doctor and conduct regular ultrasound investigations to make sure all is fine with the current fetus.

Wishing you lots of luck. Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
