Pregnant. Noticed Pale Orange Discharge After Urination. Is This A Cause For Concern?
hello, i am 22 years old and currently 26 weeks 5 days pregnant, and I have just awoken to empty my bladder during the night (as I do many times!) and when I wiped I noticed what appeared to be a pale orange staining on the tissue which the only thing I could possibly imagine to be as blood that appears orange due to being mixed with urine perhaps? I am worried as this is my first pregnancy and can't seem to find answers online, and my doctors surgery isn't open for another few hours.. any input would be highly appreciated.
Hi, In the current situation, I would ask you to take absolute rest, observe fetal movements and watch for any further discharge or pain. The color could well be due to some stained urine as well, as happens when the urine gets concentrated. You can put a pad (not a tampon ), to observe any discharge. You can take liquids but avoid solid food until the source of the discharge can be identified. Please contact your specialist as soon as possible for further management. You may need a sonogram to look for possible cause of the discharge and a physical exam. Wish you good health.
