Pregnant. Latest Scan Shows Cervix 2.9cm And Lower Line Placenta With Brownish Material Coming Out Of Urine

i am 19week pregnent, in latest scan show my cervix measring 2.9cms and lower line placeta is there and very very little brownish materilal comming out once in a day while urinating, please help me whether the cervix measurement is abnormal do i have normal delivery please sir we having this issue after 13 years of our marriage this is very important to me

Hi,
The length of the cervix is good. You should get a local examination and a urine test to see where the discharge is coming from. Since you have a precious pregnancy, you should take all precautions to avoid any complications. Avoid intercourse, take as much rest as possible and avoid any form of exertion. If any urinary infection is detected, please get it treated immediately. The position of the placenta usually moves up as the pregnancy progresses and this can be observed through repeat sonograms at intervals. Hope this helps.
