Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Let me explain the diabetes in pregnancy as,
"Patients with any one elevated blood glucose value during 100 gm ( 100 gm) oral glucose tolerance test although not classified as gestational ( pregnancy ) diabetics showed increased placental growth & perinatal mortality."
I mentioned 100 gm not 50 gm and i spite of your blood sugar level was 160 mg so get in blood again.
2nd point is fall in hemoglobin level as you mentioned that it was 12 on 3rd month of pregnancy.
Now it is 8 , not a good sign , still there are 2 months so take a treatment of anemia from gynecologist .
Keep regular monitor of blood sugar level .
Also regular check by a gynecologist every week as in your case this is a high risk group .
Good luck. Dr. HET
