Pregnancy Post A Failed Abortion, Had Taken Misoprostal. Ultrasound Should No Abnormality In Fetus. Chances Of Birth Defects On Baby?
I am a 25 year old woman and i took 4 tabs of misoprostal. The abortion failed and now i am 7 months pregnant . I have been to many scans and the gynae told me the baby looked ok on the ultrasound . It s too late for me to abort now and i want to keep the baby. However, I am still worried about birth defects on the baby. What should i do? i am so confused, please advise me.

Side effects of misoprost are
Diarrhea
Nausea,abdominal cramp
uterine contractions in pregnancy
Birth defect may occur,but,rare.
In your case,you are having 7 months pregnancy & ultrasound scans showing normal study,it means,baby should be ok.
