Pregnancy. Nausea, Vomiting. Taking Small Meal. What Is The Solution For This?

My 25 year old daughter is pregnant. She is in her 7th month and she has nausea and vomiting . She has an OB/GYN who told her to eat smaller meals more often. She is still vomiting. She has always been in perfect health and very athletic. But this has knocked her through a loop. What can we do for the nausea and vomiting?

OBGYN 's  Response
hi,
nausea and vomitings are common in pregnancy but in some women that may last longer and extends into the later weeks of pregnancy also,
this is especially seen in case of primigravidae,
she can take help of anti emetics which will decrease the problem to some extent, single dose daily is sufficient in some women where as others need twice or thrice a day doses,
she can try remedies like after waking up in the morning better to lye sometime on the bed only and let her move her limbs for sometime, then after waking up better to take dry things like biscuits etc instead of oily foods,
let her eat what she likes instead of strict meals chart which will help to some extent,
adding fruits, juices into the diet chart also helps.
take care.
