Post Operation Pain, Upper Abdominal Pain, Nausea, Watery Motions. On Warfarin, Codeine Taken. Arm Surgery Done. Suggestions?

Hello . I am on 8mg Warfarin approx. and yesterday had surgery on my arm .I had stopped the warfarin for two nights and reduced the two nights prior to this.I had severe post op pain and had 60mg of codiene 4 times in16 hours.
I have had sharp upper abdominal pain felt nauseous and now have watery loose moitions .Not black though .Is this just a coincidence or should I be worried .Thanks

Hi there ~

I understand your concerns and you have good reason to be concerned about your condition. I think that you will do well with visiting with a doctor to get your INR checked. I think that you may have had mesenteric infarction if you have been having sharp upper abdominal pain in the case of having reduced your warfarin usage and having despite using codeine. I hope you visit with a doctor as soon as possible to get an ultrasound scan to find out if all is well. You might also need an MRA and other imaging studies. I hope this works.
