Possible Fatty Deposit Above Collar Bone. Chest X-ray Clear. No Lumps Felt. Suggestions?

I have what appears to be a fatty deposit above my left collarbone. I became scared and went to a stat care. Dr. said it feels like fatty tissue but should have an ultrasound. he did a chest xray and it was fine. My family dr is on vacation. The office np felt it and said it is not a lymph node and did not feel any more test needed but I freak out about this stuff. No hard or soft lumps felt at all. just a little pocket of swelling. No other symptoms

Hello
Thanks for writing to HCM

You need proper clinical examination and investigations.
Chest x-ray can't detect fatty deposition over collar bone.
Investigations like ultrasound,FNAC can be done.
CT scan can be done if needed.
If it is fatty tissue really, then you shouldn't worry.
There may be many reasons for swelling. It needs to be investigated.

Take Care
