I had an surgical abortion 4 weeks ago and im testing positive. is this new or old? I made the biggest mistake of my life 4 weeks ago and had a surgical abortion. I am testing positive on a pregnancy test. is this from the last one or is this new?

If you had a surgical abortion and all the tissue is removed , its unlikely that you would test positive even after 4 weeks.Did you have sex after last surgical abortion or are you on any medication ? Please visit your Obstetrician for an Ultrasound and confirmation/ruling out pregnancy .
