hello,
You need to have an x-ray knee as the popping sound indicates injury to ligaments in the knee. You need to consult your doctor for clinical examination of the knee.Take zerodol for pain and give rest to the leg.brace may be needed and it will be decided by an orthopedician.Thank you.
