Pneumonia, had nebulization, congestion cleared. On flohale. Suggest?

HI, my daughter is 4.5 years old and had Pneumonia about 1 month back. She had the nebulization for 15 days or so and then the congestion was mostly cleared. The dosage given was flohale 0.5 respules and duolin 2.5 ml respules for three times a day. Now, she is again having lot of congestion with running nose . Should I start the same nebulization routine and for how many days.

Is the pneumonia evidenced by x-ray chest? Did she have fever at those times?
May be ur daughter has got a simple seasonal allergy, which were suppressed by the steroids (flohale)

If there is no evidence of infection (which needs careful examination by ur doctor), she needs antiallergic medications till this season gets over completely. It may be monteleukast + levocetrizine at nights or a fluticasone nasal spray twice daily. If she is having wheezing, she needs an inhaler medication containing fluticasone and salmeterol.
Remember many times, simple nasal blockade is misinterpreted by parents as wheezing. So consult ur doctor
