Planning Pregnancy. Spotting And Breasts Sore. Missed Period. Pregnancy Test Negative. Is This Too Early To Test?

my husband and i are trying to concieve, I am 34 and worried about conceiving and age even tho my dr. says to give it a year... we had sex a bunch of times during peak ovulation about 2 plus weeks ago.... was supposed to get my period this past week, was 1-2 days late and then only bled for one full day
now my breasts are REALLY sore, i am hot all the time and a bit nauseas...
I have never in 20+ years having my period, had it for one day - not sure if that is just implantation bleeding. Just took a test from drug store, but didn't have much urine to fullfill the requirements - It was negative, could it be too early to test or a false negative?
Thanks!

Hello,

Here, you need to undergo one blood test for beta-hCG and TVS scan to rule out the possible conception. Early pregnancy test is less significant.

After that, you must consult with gynecologist for next line management. Till then, you maintain genital hygiene properly.

Good luck.
