Pink Skin Developed Around The Outer Area Of The Anus. How To Treat The Skin ?

Pink skin developed around the outer area of the anus I believe as the result of a fungal infection that was resolved. The skin will not darken and seems to be susceptible to red patches that I treat with jock itch cream before it develops into a full fungal infection. How can I treat the skin so it is stronger and less vulnerable to red patches and fungus? I do wear ventilating boxer shorts and they do clear up quickly with the cream. Thank you.

hello,
welcome to heathcare magic
i would suggest to totally clear the fungal infection you should take a course of oral antifungals which will help to clear any slight fungal infcection thst could have not been cleared by the cream.
you need to keep your anal region very hygienic in order to avoid fungal infections to develop.
try avoiding wearing tight undergarments.
try avoid places that are very hot like steam rooms near heaters these aggravate the problem.
hope to have helped to answer your query.
wish you a quick recovery.
