Pimples On Leg, Drained Infection Once Earlier. Will MRSA Check Be Done For Nose Culture By Default ?
when dr send culture from nose to lab do they have to specified what they are looking for? Or lab would check for mrsa no matter what . I hade many pimples on my leg since 2 years and one time urgent care drained the infection 2 years ago and nose culture 1 year ago showed heavy growth of Citrobacter koseri skin flora also present is it possible I have mrsa and lab did not test for it

Hi, if at all you have methiline resistant staphylococcus aurius, this also will come in the test and you get the treatment options for the treatment. So dont worry about it ,by the time you would have cleared of it, by the previus treatments.
