Pharyngitis, Clamp, Calpol, Meftal-p, Fever

My 6yr daughter has pharyngitis n is given clamp and calpol n meftal p for last three days.. Even now she keeps getting fever (102-103degrees)every 6th hour. What can be the prob?

Hello,
Your daughter has been diagnosed to have pharyngitis so she has been prescribed an antibiotic amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid,paracetamol for fever and an analgesic for pain.This is the correct treatment for your baby.Even after completing the course if fever is not going then consult your physician again so that he may think over to change the antibiotic.
