Pexoclav For Viral Fever, Had Dengue. Why Is Fever Not Leaving?

My son 16 Yrs., 63Kg, 5 7 , is being treated for viral fever , with Pexoclav 625 twice daily, with paracetamol & antipyretics for last four days. Temp. was initially in the range of 101-103F, For last two days the temp. has come down to 97-102. But its not getting remissioned. Doctor has now advised for some tests to see the nature of infection. Two Yrs. back he had suffered from dengu. I am bit confused pl. help.
