Persisting Throat Irritation, Headache, Cold Post Treatment. Effective Remedy?

hi doctor, i am female, and 28, got fever due to cold and bit headache and throat irritation yesterday and took medicine... now no fever and headache but throat irritation and cold on still on there. i didnt took medicine till now. please advise me a good medicine. thank you

Hi,
It seems that you are having viral infection.
Take some decongestant, analgesic tablet as and when required for 2-3 days.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.

Hello,

Thanks for your query. You seem to be having a common cold, which is usually viral in origin. The best way to recover would be to take adequate rest, plenty of hot soups and nutritious diet. For easing the throat irritation I recommend you to do salt water gargles and avoid acidic foods. For the cold you can take any antihistamines like cetirizine. Steam inhalations will also benefit the nasal congestion. Hope this helps and wish you a very speedy recovery.
