Persisting Swollen Bump In The Head Since A Long Time, Done Laceration. What Could Have Caused It?

Hey, a long time ago I had a bump or sore on the left side of my head. After a while, my mom realized that the bump never came down or the swelling never came down. So see took me to the doctor and got it lacerated. The doctor squeezed it and pus came out. this bump is fine now but what Im asking you is what the hell was it that I had???

Thanks for query.
It seems that you might had a formed abscess or infected Sebaceous cyst.
As you are fine with removal of pus then formed abscess is more likely.
If infected cyst is there then there are all chances of recurring bump again.
