Dear Cherie, For a Diebetic, regular/diet according to schedule is very important to keep the insulin
levels constant which in turn helps maintain a standard blood sugar levels. Diet, medication and exercise go hand in hand when making an effort to maintain optimum sugar levels. As a dietitian, i would suggect you to include a lot of fiber in the form of whole fruits, whole wheat, pulses and leafy vegetables. And always remember to say a big NO to sweets and refined products. Good luck!!!
