Periods Heavy With Clots, Having Back Pain, Migraine. Took Thyroxine For Under Active Thyroid, Lymphnoids Present. Symptoms Related?

I have been experienced very bad periods that are very heavy and full of clots for about 7 days at a time then spotting for one to two weeks then having another bad period etc. I am suffering from very bad back pain and had a migrane in by right side of my head and down my right ear and jaw and feel the glands on that side sore.
I have an under active thyroid which i take 100g thyroxine for and recently had thyroid scan that showed clumps of lymphnoids in the right side and under my chin/neck. I have been also struggling to swallow and suffer from a croaky voice quite often. Can these symptoms be connected.

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
According to your description, most of your problems are linked with hypothyroidism.
Hypothyroidism can present with excessive and prolonged blood flow during periods.
Inflammation of the thyroid gland can present with enlarged gland and surrounding lymph nodes.
This can make the swallowing difficult.
So once go for reevaluation of thyroid profile.
Depending on the findings, consult endocrinologist once and adjust the dose of thyroid tablets tablets accordingly.
If he recommends any surgical procedure, you may need to undergo.
After correction of thyroid abnormality your menstrual problems, weakness etc will get corrected.
Better to undergo ultrasound abdomen and pelvis once, to rule out other causes of menorrhagia.
Take iron supplements to prevent anemia.
Take care.
