Penetration Is Very Painful, Unable To Lubricate, Used Libricants, Still Very Painful

I got married two months before. My husband tries to insert his penis but everytime he tries, I feel a lot of pain resulting in my screams , due to which he withdraws his penis. I also am hardly able to lubricate, so I've begun using the sex lubricants. With that too, I feel pain if he tries to insert further. What is the solution?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query.
I think what you are experiencing is called Vaginismus.
In this condition, there is a psychological block due to which the vaginal muscles tighten and penetration is just not allowed by the female.
Of course you could have a real organic reason too, some obstruction in the vagina such as a septum etc.
you should see a gynecologist as this will wreck your sexual life.
She can dilate the vagina with a finger and teach you gradual dilatation of the vagina.
In certain cases, dilatation of the vaginal canal under anesthesia maybe required.
All the best.
