Pelvic Scan Showed Gravy, Bulky, Anteverted With Single Gestational Sac, Fetal Pole With Cardiac Pulsation. Meaning?
Good morning, pls i just did a pelvic scan report that reads ---gravid, bulky and seen in an anteverted position containing a single gestation sac which habours a fetal pole with a crl 60.9mm corresponding to 12weeks,4days. fetal cardiac pulsation is seen, myometrium is homogeneous in pattern. pls can you explain this to me.

Gravid means pregnant , bulky means increased size or thickness of the uterus which is normal in pregnancy.
Anteverted position just refers to the position of the uterus- it means that it is tipped forward which is the common position of the uterus.
CRL- crown rump length of the baby (head to bottom length) was 60.9 mm which corresponds to a baby of 12 weeks in age.
Fetal cardiac pulse means that they heard the baby's heart which is good.
Myometrium homogenous - myometrium is the muscle in the uterus, homegenous implies that it looks uniform, all appears the same, this is good
