Paralyzed On Left Side Due To Hemorrhagic Stroke, What Does The Reading Indicate?

Hello My husband a hemmoragic stroke on march 7, they said it was a 6.7ml and he is very lucky to be alive. He is paralized on his left side and has basically no short term memory. What does the 6.7 mean? is this as good as he will probably will get?

I have noted your husband's symptoms and diagnosis.

I agree that brain haemorrhage is a serious condition with high disability and heath rate.

The survival depends not only on the volume of hematoma (volume of brain bleed), but also the location of bleeding, age of patient, presence of comorbid factors such as diabetes, high BP, etc and the treatment given.

6.7 ml probably refers to hematoma volume and as I said there are other factors that could determine his survival and extent of improvement.
