Painful Thighs Mostly In Night, Pain Ceases During Day

Thank you, I am a man aged 61, and lately (last few weeks) I have experienced painful/aching thighs (front mostly) of a night while I am trying to sleep . The ache ceases during the day and does not resume until I have been in bed for a while. I work during the day and I am on my feet for about 4 out of 8 hours, and I try to get about 8 to 9 hours sleep each night. Thank you
