Painful Reddish Spot On The Nose. Broken Cartilage?

I have a red spot on my nose that really hurts when I touch it. It is at the tip, just left of the tip. I rolled over on my nose in my sleep about a week ago. It is possible I broke some cartilege doing that? I actully think it s getting slightly better, after a week or so. There is no pimple , just a round red spot that hurts from the inside to outside of my nose.
