Painful Pressure During Urination, Bowel Movement, Light Bleeding When Wiped, White Flakes In Urine. Underwent Abortion. Advise?

I had a medical abortion 3 weeks ago and 1 week ago today I had to go back for en ERPC. In the last couple of days I have been experiencing painful pressure during urination, and this morning considerable pain when I had a bowel movement. I am bleeding very lightly (only present when I wipe and it is very dark brown) and when I pee there are small white flakes present in the urine and also when I wipe. I do not have a temp or change to urine colour or smell and I do not have any discharge. What could this be?

Hello and welcome to HCM.

Thank you for your query.

I have gone through your query, and the only thing unclear from your symptoms is the presence of blood on wiping after passing a bowel movement or after passing urine?

I am assuming this is after passing urine, which is why as of now it sounds like you could be suffering from a urinary tract infection (UTI), which has the following symptoms:
-Burning sensation while urinating
-Frequent urination
-Increased urge to urinate, but less amount of urine passed
-Chills
-Fever
-Lower abdominal and/or flank region pain
-Itching around the genitals
-Blood in urine or immediately after (not always seen)

Although, not all symptoms need to be present in one individual. You will have to visit your doctor for a urine examination, which will confirm the infection. Treatment will be initiated based on the type of infection you have, but most commonly a course of antibiotic therapy is initiated, along with pain management medication (if pain is present) and a urine alkalizer.

In the meantime, please refrain from any form of sexual contact if you are sexually active, and drink plenty of water. I am sure you will be fine soon.

I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.

Best wishes.
